The first elected officers were:

Treasurer - Jack Lorrel
Secretary - Lila Moore
The two committees were:
Social - Gaylord Nichols and Les Stratman
Travel - Jack Keyser
The membership totaled 155 in l985 (122 JPL and 33 CIT).
Due to our immediate year 2000 Past President, Phil Neuhauser, the newsletter (ARC Light), the by-laws and the organization itself has taken on a fresh new look.
Today ARC is a vibrant, active and socially oriented organization. The rapid growth period following the associations beginning involved many individuals who each contributed the talent and time to tailor the organization to meet the evolving needs of members. Their contributions are important historical detail. Today there are 600 plus retirees (not including spouses or domestic partners) and a full volunteer Board of Officers and Committees to fulfill the
